In the recent years, several agencies have expressed the ambition to emancipate slightly form the TIC processes and wish to handle a larger share of their responsibilities. An innovative and disruptive reform is possible. The program considers the modernisation and digitalisation of the public service. The solution gives to Agencies an enhanced operational control of the VOC program. The new processes and technology empower the bureau of standards over the certification process before shipment. With such reform, we end up with a real paperless process.

The technology is at no cost to the agency or the government. These programmes are self-financed. Investment is done by the providers.

The Bureau are becoming active in the VOC process. They and taking ownership with more control and increased part of the decision process. For instance, Request For Certification and Certificate of Conformity become the bureau’s documents with its own logo, and own validation before release to trader.
